Channel Sales Manager

  • Manage a local channel sales team with all related leadership duties as hiring, developing and coaching staff members
  • Acquire the right distribution partners for the geos in close collaboration with the Geo VP – Sales and Director – Global Channel Sales
  • Respond to partner requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Build out enablement activities
  • Improve partner enablement materials
  • Continue enablement of existing reseller partners and distributors.
  • Work with the global partner team to improve co-operation
  • Develop and improve partner channel operational reporting
  • Develop and effectively manage partnership and internal relationships necessary to reach mutually beneficial objectives and the cross-functional commitments to achieve them
  • Schedule regular performance reviews with the existing distributors
  • Represent TeamViewer on Geo level during channel-specific events and meetings
  • Build a channel sales environment by which TeamViewer can scale building new customer relationships
  • Gain and maintain an in-depth understanding of partner relationships and strategic alignment needs within the business. 
  • Identify areas of improvement within existing channel sales environment and as part of the global channel team
  • Manage functional improvement projects
  • Maintain on-going, sound technical knowledge of TeamViewer products and services

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field of study, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • 2-5 years of Channel Sales, Account Management and/or Relationship Management experience is required, with a strong preference for experience in Channel Sales for a Software company
  • At least 1 year of people leadership experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, accountability, and seamless, reliable execution of projects and assignments
  • Experience with developing operational plans, processes and procedures, as well as using an analytic approach to investigating and executing projects and business opportunities within a similar role
  • Intrinsically self-motivated and success-driven individual with a desire to exceed goals and expectations
  • Experience in strategically building and maintaining internal and external business relationships
  • Outstanding track record of thought leadership, people leadership and decision-making
  • Strong professional presence and communication skills
  • Open-minded individual with a team-oriented approach
