Head of Sales

Country Manager - Japan

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of TeamViewer for the Japanese market on all commercial aspects.
  • Build the sales strategy and execution plan by assessing market demand and identifying potential opportunities.
  • Be responsible for the ongoing growth and development of TeamViewer’s operations in Japan.
  • Apply both tactical and strategic go to market models aimed at growing the customer base both in the short and long terms to drive higher revenues, customer growth and customer retention.
  • Manage the relationship with local distributors and resellers and strategic customers.
  • Responsible for the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast processes, including pipeline analysis, data validation, and identify the gaps and actions required.
  • Create an energized and positive working environment.
  • Attract talent, build a successful high potential Sales Team, leading and inspiring them in their roles.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience leading a sales organization of at least 10 + employees with an additional 5 years of technology related sales or business development experience with quota accountability.
  • Experience developing and implementing a successful go-to market plan and multiyear (three year) business/sales plan.
  • Energetic and charismatic sales leadership skills that can motivate sales teams to meet quarterly objectives and strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese are mandatory.
  • Ability to represent and speak on TeamViewer’s behalf at technology conferences and other relevant events.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience working in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
  • Highly motivated individual with a results-driven orientation, capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.
  • Very strong work ethic with “can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out” attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills.
