Technical Support Representative - Bi-Lingual English / Spanish

  • Support and resolve customer inquiries in 2nd level support cases via remote support, telephone or e-mail communication
  • Act as a subject matter expert on technical requirements and features of TeamViewer software products
  • Partner with the Sales team to address prospective and current customer needs using technical knowledge
  • Interact with Development team to resolve 3rd level support cases
  • Test TeamViewer software products for reported issues from our users
  • Escalate customer feedback to appropriate internal teams for support and/or resolution
  • Recommend solutions to frequent customer needs to internal partners and leaders
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field of study (IT-related) or equivalent related work experience is required
  • MCSA, MCSE, ACSP or similar certification is preferred
  • 2-3 years of previous working experience in a software technical support role is required
  • Work experience using and/or supporting one or more of the following operating systems: Windows®, Mac OS X®, Linux®, iOS® or Android®
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP and Microsoft SCCM.
  • Advanced understanding of Active Directory
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Server 2008/2012, VMWare, Active Directory Policy and Security management, Linux/UNIX
  • Deep technical knowledge of infrastructure IT including Windows OS and Windows applications, application and appliance knowledge for virtualization, firewall, anti-virus, Wi-Fi, mobility management and security.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer networks and software
  • Fluency in English and Spanish are required, with excellent reading, writing, editing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Other language skills are a plus (Portuguese, French, German, etc.)
  • Ability to travel internationally for training is required (including 4 weeks of initial job training in Germany); Must have a current passport
  • Ability to work late shifts (12pm-9pm) on a rotating basis; No overnights or weekends will be required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States for any employer (visa sponsorship is not available)
