US Corporate Counsel

  • Provide sound legal advice and legal support to US and global teams
  • Negotiate and draft a variety of legal contracts and documents (including but not limited to, SaaS, licensing (EULA), technology, vendor, and distribution) that align with core business values, applicable polices and regulatory requirements
  • Support privacy and compliance policies and program with direction from the Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel
  • Shape and maintain compliance with corporate/global business needs
  • Partner with internal teams to provide input on projects, processes, business development activities and strategies in support of both regional and global business needs
  • Assist and manage, as needed, litigation proceedings in the Americas
  • Maintain internal legal documentation files, including contracts and agreements
  • Support other legal areas such as IP, employment and benefits, disputes and corporate governance

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials and member of a state bar in good standing (must have authorized in-house counsel license if not FL)
  • Minimum 2-4+ years’ relevant and applicable experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • Contract negotiation experience; experience with content and IP licensing, including software and technology.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, GDPR, and cybersecurity issues preferred.
  • Multi-national business experience preferred
