The Director, Global Marketing Technology, part of the global marketing operations team enabling global demand creation, will help create a vision, roadmap, on-time delivery, and value realization of Marketing technology stack through leading the selection, implementation, management and quality of our Marketing platforms. This role will work directly for the VP, Global Marketing Operations and Technology and closely with the Business, Operations and Technology teams to advance our use of Marketing technology platforms to achieve marketing and business goals. 

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on solving sophisticated problems and has several years of hands-on experience in delivering global marketing applications and web-based systems, aligning technology to operations processes and providing consistency and stability.  Strong communication and analytical thinking skills are necessary to have the right level of impact and influence.

  • Understands, leads and applies governmental and company policies and regulations (GDPR, DPIA, CASL, etc.) on the selection and use of marketing technology
  • Collaborates with marketing sales and IT leaders and peers in the definition, development, and maintenance of MarTech strategic and operational plans
  • Develop and manage bid requirements for all marketing technology, implementations and platform upgrades
  • Identifies and manages 3rd party implementation and service providers
  • Continually monitors the platform performance, KPIs systems and integrations, troubleshoot and analyze marketing technology to ensure continued data quality and service standards
  • Maintains an expert knowledge of business processes, industry and technology trends to better define and communicate the roadmap and rationale for future MarTech solutions
  • Continually assess how our marketing teams use the marketing tech and find ways to improve user experience and efficiencies
  • Proactively identifies project risks, issues and dependencies; helps determine necessary escalation, mitigation, and resolution steps


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • 8 to 10+ years inexperience in hands-on and/or direct management in the following technical areas – privacy, security & compliance tools, marketing automation, ABM, reporting and visualization, scaled web platforms and applications, and lead management solutions. 
  • Experience in business process re-engineering and standardizing business processes across entities.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize business needs and allocate resources by appropriately balancing internal capabilities with external consultants is essential.
