Director (m/f/d) People Operations (HR Services/Systems)

Responsibilities

Establish, streamline, and align HR processes across the employee lifecycle to create a unique and positive experience for our employees and leaders. With your in-depth knowledge and experience in E2E HR processes and your structured approach and knowledge of HR technology solutions, you will continue to advance our people processes to enable growth and scalability in the way we work.  

  • Design, plan and execute scalable E2E HR processes and set up the systems, tools and processes to prepare the organization for continuous growth
  • Configure and continually optimize our environment of HR related systems and processes to ensure streamlined operations that also yield useful people analytics and data
  • Oversee our dedicated HR Services and Payroll teams enabling them to work in a coordinated and aligned way to provide exceptional services to our employees
  • Own all HR administration and payroll processes directly for EMEA, with close alignment and collaboration with the AMS and APAC teams
  • Drive continuous improvements and professionalism in the areas of core HR Services eg payroll, GDPR, data management and mobility
  • Define, implement and enforce global standards, procedures and SLA’s with a think global, act local attitude
  • Work closely with the global HR team as well as key stakeholders within the organisation (Controlling, IT, Finance) and be the expert point of contact for HR process and systems issues and topics
  • Define and continiously improve and enhance HR/people metrics for reporting

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience of work in human resources field, preferably in a technology, SaaS company or high growth company that has globally distributed offices
  • Organizational and technically savvy with solid understanding of the full employee lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of HR system design, HR workflows, processes and procedures
  • Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across global teams and functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, open-minded and solutions orientated when it comes to system and process design without compromising on privacy, security topics
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of quality work, with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined – able to work effectively and guide others in the absence of direct supervision
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus
