HR Manager

  • Own both the day-to-day HR activities as well as the execution of global HR initiatives and programs.
  • Understand key company strategic initiatives, supporting these with agile, modern and effective HR practices and procedures.
  • Oversee and take responsibility for the full cycle of Talent Acquisition, from attraction of talent to onboarding of new hires.
  • Work with managers to optimise their team’s capabilities to drive performance.
  • Take the lead with all immigration, benefits, wellness, and workers’ comp matters.
  • Take the lead with all Immigration, 401k and health insurance matters.
  • Advise managers in all aspects relevant to employment law, employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Manage all HR compliance activities for the US employees.
  • Provide input into the design and development of global HR initiatives and programs to ensure they are aligned with the US business requirements.
  • Design and deliver training programs focused on compliance, leadership skills, policies and best practices to all levels of employees within the US business.

  • Diploma or Master´s Degree in Human Resources. PHR or SPHR certifications would be considered a strong asset.
  • 8+ years previous relevant experience in at least one HR Business Partner role, ideally in an international environment with an HR Business Partner model.
  • Knowledge of state and federal human resources legislation regulations that govern the US.
  • Previous experience working with Senior Leaders and leadership teams and a wide variety of business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and counsel at all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge in talent management, employer branding and end to end recruitment.
  • Experience investigating employee relations issues as needed.
  • Track record of exceptionally successful HR partnering in a busy, fast-changing business environment.
  • Experience creating and delivering training on a wide variety of HR-related subjects to leaders and line-level employees.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively relate with wide variety of people at all levels.
  • Very strong work ethic with “can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out” attitude.
  • Resourcefulness, having the ability and willingness to find answers and solutions.
  • Displays initiative and a high customer orientation/focus.
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast growing organization.
  • Highest level ethical behaviour and confidentiality.
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated, demonstrating sound judgment, initiative and an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills.
