IoT Sales Representative (m/f/d/v)

Responsibilities

The IoT Sales Representative will drive the development and expansion of the Internet of Things market, selling our new IoT software to new and existing TeamViewer customers. 

  • Drive the development and expansion of the Internet of Things market, selling our new IoT software to new and existing TeamViewer customers
  • Manage new and existing leads finding opportunity relevant to IoT, experience doing consultative selling with long sales cycles.
  • Work with pre-sales engineers and doing basic product demos to get customers interested.
  • Provide advice to new and existing customers by phone and e-mail / chat
  • Prepare quotes for TeamViewer solutions that meet individual needs of each customer
  • Deliver a best-in-class experience to customers from first contact to closing of an IoT contract
  • Find opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell by providing solutions that solve our customers’ business challenges with the help of our IoT offering

Requirements

  • Experience in IT and software companies in a consultative sales role
  • Advanced technical understanding in the context of the Internet of Things or similar technologies for mid-market and enterprise customers
  • Ideally 4+ years of professional experience in sales of industrial software products like MES or SCADA systems or IoT solutions
  • Good understanding of business processes and automation
  • Experience working in a cross-team environment including teams in other geographies
  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and a friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers
  • Sales driven and self-motivated to achieve or exceed your revenue targets
  • Creative thinking when it comes to cross-selling approaches and solutions selling
  • Enthusiastic, open-minded and team orientated with a healthy touch of competitiveness
  • Positive approach to change with the ability to adapt and be flexible in a high growth and dynamic work environment
  • This is a new market so ability to deal with ambiguity and open to try new ideas and approaches to consultative selling
