We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our R&D team in Ioannina and to actively contribute to the development of new features of our products with the help of JavaScript technologies. The position provides excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment.
- Design and develop multi-threaded and high scaling server and client-side applications using JavaScript and web development tools and technologies
- Focus on API development and pptimize and enhance our software using new technologies, efficient algorithms and frameworks
- Work collaboratively in an agile development team (Scrum) within a continuous integration environment
- Introduce improvements to further enhance our systems and codebase when it comes to quality, reliability, maintainability, scalability and performance
- Act as an advisor towards product owner (feasibility studies and time estimates)
- Ensure that our software is stable and runs efficiently on many different systems (more than 2.5 billion installations)
Requirements
- A completed university degree with very good educational track record in Computer science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is required
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of object-oriented software development using Java and JavaScript
- Experience in any of the following fields would be desirable: React, C++, git, Bitbucket
- Structured and analytical way of thinking and working supported by a team-player mentality and motivation to learn
- Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
