Be an active part of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and financial statements and act as contact person for our auditors
Review major sales contracts to ensure that revenue is recorded in compliance with IFRS
Provide recommendations to legal and sales on how to appropriately structure sales contracts to avoid revenue recognition issues after execution
Actively design internal processes and support us in our ongoing change of ERP for our next growth cycle and in our internationalization
Take on and oversee special accounting topics according to HGB and/or IFRS
Requirements
Completed apprenticeship or studies in accounting or tax
Further trainings on the job are an advantage
At least 5 years of professional experience with relevant operational experience in accounts receivable and/or payroll accounting
Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages (German) are a plus
Structured, independent and reliable way of working
Interest and experienced in project work and high intrinsic motivation to identify and implement possible improvements
Strong analytical mindset and communication skills
Deep knowledge of MS-Office and accounting systems
