Tech Support Engineer (m/f)

Aufgaben

Your Responsibilities

  • Clarify technical questions from our prospective buyers and customers and provide them with consultation about all aspects of a new software product from the TeamViewer family
  • Attend to customers from German and English-speaking countries via telephone, e-mail and chat
  • Support our sales team with your technical know-how and provide detailed error descriptions to the software development
  • Take on Second-Level support cases
  • Reconstruct these cases with VM Ware and solve them, e.g. via remote support
  • Measures process and solve third-level support cases
  • Communicate with our customers and keep them informed about our range of products
  • You are experienced in working with malware removal tools, such as anti-malware, antivirus or firewall, as well as common company network and PC technologies

Qualifikationen

Requirements

  • university degree with a major in applied information technology, business information management or a comparable field in information technology, e.g. as IT system administrator or as information technology specialist
  • You already have professional experience in the IT environment, preferably in the area of IT security
  • You are experienced in working with malware removal tools, such as anti-malware, antivirus or firewall, as well as common company network and PC technologies
  • Advanced Windows® and Linux skills
  • Strong English language skills, strong german language skills are a plus 
  • Experience with customers is a plus 
  • Strong communication skills, results and problem solution orientation as well as friendly, professional relations with customers
